February Board Meeting Highlights

●  No action was taken at the board meeting due to lack of quorum

·  Discussed a number of items including our commitment to the Eliminate Project

● At a special meeting held following the regular Feb. 21 meeting our club voted to become a “model club” in the Eliminate Project fundraising campaign.

Pancake and Sausage Breakfast

Advertising is underway.  Tickets have been distributed to members.  The sign-up sheet for workers has made the rounds.  The breakfast is a major source of funds for our club to use for community projects.  Contact your friends, relative, and neighbors.  Make sure they have tickets.  Pre-sold tickets ensure the club of income and serve to remind those who have them of the day and time of the breakfast.

A 50-50 raffle will be held for the Scholarship Fund.

Coupons and Boxtops

We are collecting newspaper insert coupon booklets from the Sunday newspaper for the Builders Club to provide to our servicemen and women.  We are also collecting boxtops and labels that earn reimbursements for schools for the Elementary School.  Some of these are pretty small, in size but will have the word “education” included.  Just bring them to a meeting and we will get them to the school.
