Responsibilities
The Planning Department is
responsible for the enforcement of the subdivision regulations for the
unincorporated areas of Wayne County. The department also administers the
floodplain regulations. Community Development Block Grants, Ohio Public Works
Commission, and the Office of Rural Land Preservation are a part of the
department. The Department is responsible for monitoring tax abatement/enterprise
zone agreements for compliance.
