Judge John B. Street

Judge John B. Street was elected to serve as Judge of the Chillicothe Municipal Court for the six year term beginning January 1, 1996.
Before his election to the bench, Judge Street had been a member of the law firm of Phillips and Street since 1981 and an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Ross County since 1993.
Judge Street received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Wake Forrest University in 1978 and earned his Juris Doctorate from Washington & Lee University School of Law in 1981.
Judge Street served as President of Chillicothe City Council from 1989 through 1995. He is a member of the Ross County Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, and the American Judges Association.

Judge Street has been active in many civic and community organizations, including the Salvation Army Advisory Board, the Paint Valley Mental Health, Alcohol, and Drug Addiction Services Board, the Chillicothe Rotary Club , the Scioto Valley Youth Baseball League, and the St. Paul's Episcopal Church. He and his wife Lynn have four children.
