Highlights:

Mary and I celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary this year, I feel very fortunate.

I've been working at Crown as a welder for the last 5 years. My children have resparked my interest in hunting & fishing. But recently, I spend most of my spare time looking for arrowheads. This gets me outdoors, it's good exercise and sometimes I'll find one.

Nick has graduated from MHS this year and will be studying at Lima Tech for a career in Respiratory Therapy. -- as if a 25 year reunion isn't enough to make you wonder where the years have gone, having your own children graduate will make you think some more.

Philip and Jenny enjoy athletic activities. Volleyball is Jennifer's game. Philip just turned 16 and so cars and driving seems to be what is on his mind now.

Highlights:

Our oldest son Shane graduated & spent 4 yrs in the USN. He got married to Andi Miller (her mom is the former Sandi Kiefer now Miller who also graduated in 1972). Shane & Andi lived in Washington State where we visited them a couple of times. They now reside in St. Marys with our 2 grandsons Austin & Brady. Our 2nd son Chris resides with us and works at Hoge Lumber. I have hit the 15 yr mark last Nov. with my present employer the good ole Joint Township Hosp. I have taken up the game of golf & am a NASCAR race fan. Roger & I will celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary this August 5th. We finally were able to move to the country last summer and love it. We don't lead a very exciting life, but we do enjoy life with our children & grandchildren, other family members, friends, church and all of Gods glorious nature.

Highlights:

In the past 5 years our daughters have grown from small children to teen-age and nearly-teen-age young ladies. We keep praying that the life we lead and the love and discipline we apply to the shaping of their lives will be enough to help them grow into responsible, respectful and caring adults.

Kevin's livelihood in the structural steel business has kept him very busy and as a result become successful and respected in the construction community and known as a person who understands what customer service is all about. Our church is currently nearing ground-breaking stage for a new addition and he is serving as Committee Co-chair.

As for me, I continue to have the good fortune to be a full-time stay-at-home mom. I served 2 years as our Elementary School's PTA President and continue as their Santa Shop chairperson and Fun Day Activities organizer. This year as Abby moves into 8th grade at the middle school, I'll be serving as PTA President there.

Girl Scouting has been a part of our lives since Abby was old enough to be a Daisy Girl Scout with Marissa joining in Kindergarten also. I've been a leader with the troop Abby's in since 1st grade and have seen the girls grow into wonderful young ladies and also seen the troop shrink as school activities increased. Now with 2 girls remaining, I've decided to continue with them and also take the reins of Marissa's troop as her leader had requested relief.

In addition, I've been co-directing the Children's Choir of about 30 children at our church for the past 10 years presenting music about once-a-month during worship as well as participating in our Annual Gospel Concert, Youth Sunday, a yearly performance at a retirement community and preparing a musical with the children each year (Boy, whoever thought that from that costume experience in "Carousel" our senior year that I'd be co-directing a children's musical?!).

In reflection, the 5 years seem to have flown by filled with a lot of loving memories of times with our family, meeting and working with new friends at school and at church and finding time to enjoy all of the many joys and little frustrations we encounter as we explore daily life.
