The Mission of the American Red Cross 

The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its congressional charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disaster and help people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.

After- Hour Emergencies

" If you are requesting assistance at the scene of a fire or disaster, or you need the Red Cross to send an emergency message to a family member in the military, and you live in western Crawford County, call the Red Cross at 562 - HELP (4357). If it is after hours, call CONTACT at 562 - 9010 Crawford County. Give them a description of what you need and a telephone number to call and a Red Cross worker will call you shortly."
