Through the 1990’s I created thirty-three Performance Art Pieces.

MEN’S STUFF – 1993

When the naked man and the naked woman stepped out of the forest 10,000 years ago they were very different from each other. The woman was dependent upon the man due to the awkwardness when carrying a child. To her, satisfaction was being filled. Being filled was a passive act. In contrast the man only wanted to hunt and thrust his spear wherever he could. He was action oriented. His mobility was important to him. But woman wanted him to cease his mobility. To do so, she showed him that thrusting his spear was more rewarding in a civilized environment. But only when the participants of a civilization are all treated equally can a civilization survive. So man started filling up with food. Food provided by woman. Because woman dug in the ground and planted food and grew food. Man’s evolution had ceased because civilization required equality. Therefore both the strong and the weak must survive. But man only wanted to be free to thrust his spear wherever he could. Words were created to maintain equality. But woman had created them before civilization began. Because they ere used to keep order and equality in the camp while the males were out thrusting their spear. But the words were passive and not active. And they filled the culture but they had no significance. Since the woman was interested in being filled with materialism. Then materialism began. The possession of massive amounts of materialism required them to stay with it because it couldn’t be moved. With maternalism came materialism and with materialism came math to keep track and order. But the 10,000 years of male genetic code was still only interested in thrusting his spear in the soft flesh of the prey. So woman had led him into civilization. He was interested in thrusting his spear in civilization so he devised a method of subverting his hunting needs. And he created many tools and spears to thrust with. They became awesomely powerful. But still he only wanted to pierce the soft flesh of the prey. The nature of man is to worship woman. That is why he has let civilization take him so far from the forest. Sometimes he has to go back to the forest. A few artists went back to the forest. Among them were Renoir, and Rodin and Picasso. They worshipped women, but they essentially discovered when they went back to the forest that they were the same primal man that was there 10,000 years ago. They discovered that they did not need a house that they did not need to learn math they did not need to use words. They only needed to be free from the equalizing words and math of civilization. Free to feel the truth and not be told the truth.
