 * JIM JONES MEMORABILIA 

When  we were children Jim Jones and I lived less than 20 miles apart.  I in Richmond Indiana and Jim in Lynn.  In the 50's Jim was a street evangelist in Richmond.  I remember seeing the street evangelist and Jim probably was one of them.  Why our childhood was so close and our lives took such a different direction has always puzzled me and continues to do so.  I have included Jim Jones in my performance art piece titled "Out Out brief Candle".  In the process, I collected various memorabilia.

 Thornburgs Grocery Store now stands where Jim Jones house stood while he was growing up as a child.  This Grape Kool-Aid was purchased at Thornburgs.

I used the grape Kool-Aid in both the "Out Out Brief Candle" performance and the "Ed Gein" performance.  Both Lynn Indiana and Plainfield Wisconsin (Ed's home) had a population of around 600.  It is like when a population nears or reaches 666 a psycho is created.

JIM JONES SUICIDE RECORDING ON CD

On November 18th of 1978 Jim Jones and 1000 of his followers committed mass suicide in Jonestown, Guyana.  Jim Jones recorded his, and the participants, last words.  This is 30 minutes of the recording from the Suicide night of November 18th and a couple minutes from the preceding night.  This is an excellent CD to play at millennium end suicide parties.
