THE PHILADELPHIA EXPERIMENT

NOTE:  THIS CONCEPT (THE SENSUAL SWORD SWALLOWER) WAS USED DURING THE PERFORMANCE OF "A Midsummer Night's Dream" AND THE PERFORMANCE OF "The Worker" (this "Worker" was performed at the 1470 West Club in Dayton Ohio 5 July 2002)

 She walks

She talks

She takes long objects into her mouth

She is the Sword Swallower

 

India

Egypt

Europe

Beautiful girls swallowing the sword

 

To entertain

To entice

To astound the eyes of the beholder

Beautiful girls swallowing the sword

 

For a dime

For a quarter

For you can watch with amazement

As this long dangerous weapon penetrates her mouth

 

Slowly going deeper

And deeper

To the hilt

And stopping for a moment

 

Gently sliding out

The shiny blade dripping

Dripping with saliva

And stopping for a moment

 

Then again

Penetrating

Deeper

And deeper

 

And the sword is finally removed

And held for the audience to see

And compare to the small frame

Of the sword swallower

 

 

STOP, STOP I am tired of this sexual symbolism neo beat poetry.  I want something else

 

How about separating and manipulating Space and time!

I know Einstein said you can’t separate Space and Time!

How about the Philadelphia Experiment

The Philadelphia Experiment

On the 28th of October at 17:15 in 1943 the U.S.S. Eldridge disappeared from the Philadelphia Naval yard and reappeared in Norfolk Virginia for several minutes.  It was then back in the Philadelphia Naval yard.

When it reappeared in the Philadelphia Naval yard five crewmembers were merged with the steel on the ship.  Some of the crew were missing and never seen again.  The remainder of the crew were given a medical discharge from the Navy.

You think this happened without separating space and time?

Absolutely not!

So how did the Eldridge leave one space and go to another?

It is not a special math formula like E=Mc2 but an ancient space time warp illusion called Hell’s back door.

ASSISTANT BRINGS OUT THE MAGIC CIRCLE AND HOLDS IT UP.

As you can see this is a continuous strip of paper.  And here we have an open window with the devil’s face.  We turn it over and there is a door.  If we open the door we see it is a back door to Hell.

My assistant needs an audience member to help her with the Hell’s back door illusion.

GET SOMEONE FROM AUDIENCE.  HE/SHE STANDS TO THE LEFT OF SWORD SWALLOWER.

As you notice the frame material will not turn around to where the open window is at the Devil’s back.

But as the Sword Swallower and assistant takes the frame around the magic circle you will see that it never leaves the surface but when we get back to the Devil we have an open window to hell and the back door has moved to the front.

 

THIS WILL TAKE A CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT OF TIME.   PERHAPS ONE MINUTE AS A GUESS

 

This is what happened to the Eldridge and her crew back in 1943.  The open window followed the magic circle to Norfolk then back again to the Philadelphia Naval Yard.  In transit around the circle is when the mergers of man and metal occurred.

STOP STOP!

Who cares about Space and Time and Space/time merger crap?

I rather read about a sensuous girl swallowing a sword.
