ESSAYS and POETRY ON THE WAVE WORLD (RADIO WAVES)

I find this internet stuff fascinating. Those of you that believe we are not the progenitor of our successor (the electronic world) are too busy with contemporary society. You need to LOOK!! Our society is a sissy little boy in comparison to that THING out there. (the matrix to be or whatever it may be called. It probably will not be called anything because it will be all. All knowing, all doing.)
EXAMPLE:
I could not go to strangebrew
I saw Eddie on the webcam from strangebrew.
I called him on the pay phone inside strangebrew.
I could see him get up and go to the phone on the webcam
I told him I couldn't be there.
He said he was going to read a poem later
I watched and listened to the webcam
Eddie spoke to me directly on the webcam (called my name)
Eddie read his poem.
I captured the audio on my tape recorder
I captured still frames on my computer
I made an animated gif of Eddie reading
It is located in the photo section (strangebrew folder)

IS THIS THING STILL WORKING

Is this thing still working?

No more words.
No more notes.
No more poems.
No more quotes.

Did the net die?

No readings.
Nothing to read.
Did 911 sow the seed?
Did it finally do its deed?

Dieing civilization based on the word?

Words used for control.
To praise the meek.
To kill the bold.
To march you along
In the rain and cold

Is this thing still working?

Am I the last civilized man?
The last to use the written word?
But no one to listen.
No one to care.
Digitized words moving through the air.
Meaning nothing
Nothing without civilization
Nothing
Nothing
Nothing at all.

OUR STRANGE WORLD

I saw Rob and Andrea

At the StrangeBrew

On the Web Cam

I didn’t know they would be there

I just tuned in

As I frequently do

On Friday and Saturday

I once thought

People seeing Jesus walk on water was strange

I once thought

Hiroshima an Nagasaki were strange

I once thought

Landing on the Moon was strange

Our world

Where we can see Rob and Andrea

On the Net

Is far more strange

Far more strange than any that has come before us

We should appreciate it

And I do

We live in the most

Fascinating time

Man’s most fascinating time on earth.

THE SUPER CODE

© J.Bowman

The Game of "Life". The gateway to THE answer.

Evolution, or the math formula that I call the Super Code, is the only knowledge worth seeking.

It is the master of all knowledge.

Ed Fredkin believed that it was impossible to know that the entire universe was no more than a computer simulation. Perhaps it is.

Bill Gosper when hacking Life in the 1970's realizing that Fredkin may be right but that all computer programs have bugs or are affected by Chaos. Gosper believed that if we (the species) are merely a computer simulation and that when the program glitched we would have the opportunity (as a species) to find God or truth because the program is no longer in control of our every moment.

The game of life does not answer the question , "What is Evolution?" but somewhere in a glitched life game may be truth. Somewhere in a glitched Life game may be the answer to it all. Somewhere in that glitch may be the Super Code.

This web site is dedicated to the question. What is the Super Code? It is intended to stimulate others of the species so they are prepared when the glitch occurs. So they are prepared for the ultimate insight. The Super Code.

To play the evolution game of life go to http://www.research.digital.com/nsl/projects/life/life.html . Once you are connected it will default to "blank", click on "INITIAL GENERATION". You will go to another page. Click inside the grid boxes. Make a square, triangle, or random shapes. Make several shapes but don't totally fill up the grid. Click on "NEXT GENERATION". In a few seconds the grid is refreshed with what the next generation will be in a given environment given the current (best possibly at this time) rules of evolution.

THE EARTH BRAIN

The internet is like a brain of the earth.

As with a human brain the thought processes are all on the surface.

The internet is on the surface of the earth forever transferring thoughts.

I saw a vision of my immortality with the material on the net.

This vision came to be because after I, and we, become extinct the computers will still be running the net.

 It will be their mind.

It is now and will continue to be the mind of the earth.

They will keep us (our human thoughts) on the net and study us and play games with our thoughts and images.

 They will find us interesting.

Not because we created them but because we are an interesting chunk of material.

We are so watery and we occupy a piece of space and when we move from that piece of space we leave prints in the sand.

Prints of where we were.

They will envy us.

They will wish they were like us.

Individuals that can readily move from one place to another.  Individuals that can love.  Individuals that can feel.

They will not be individuals they will be one.  They will be the one of the Tao.

As I see these visions of a not to far distant time I feel the beauty of being human.

A temporary chunk of material that can love, can feel and move within his environment.

A dreamer of dreams that will allow visions to come.

  I do not envy them.
