Some things you should know:

You can donate every 56 days

The donation process takes slightly over an hour

You should eat prior to donating

Minimum age: 17 ; no maximum age

Minumum weight: 110 pounds; Maximum weight: 350

Don't donate if you have a cold, sore throat, or flu symptoms

Anti-inflamitory drugs OK

Heart attack/stroke OK 6mos/1year if no restrictions and no meds except asprin

High blood pressure ok if no higher than 180/100 with or without meds

Tylenol, asprin, vitamins, birth control OK

Tattoo or blood transfusion 1 year deferment
