The first use of the Klolode-style hull was in the D-6,
whose weapon arcs (green for disruptor, blue for phaser) are shown
above. A slight hull modification allowed the addition of more
phasers and longer-range disruptors, resulting in the D-7, whose
weapon arcs are shown in the second illustration.

D-6 Battlecruiser Klolode |
Green:Disruptor Blue:Phaser Purple:Drone |
Developed as a replacement for the D-4 Cruiser, this hull design proved highly durable and adaptable. |

D-7 Battlecruiser | Green: Disruptor Blue: Phaser Purple: Drone |
The first improvement, with more (and better) phasers, and extended-range disruptors. Did not fully replace the D-6, which was cheaper to produce. |

D-6D Drone Cruiser | Blue: Phaser Purple: Drone |
Although designed for long-range drone bombardment, this cruiser has been known to hold its own in direct combat. It is usually deployed in a "wolfpack" of three, under a D-7 leader, and with either another Drone Cruiser or a different combat Klolode variant. |

D-7A Stasis Cruiser Spellbinder |
Orange:Stasis Device Green: Disruptor Blue: Phaser Purple: Drone |
An experimental weapon. It projects the Slaver stasis effect, using the target ship's shields or hull as a conductor to surround it in a volume of space where time is stopped (or immensely slowed). The Stasis Projector is an intense power drain and also places the D-7A under restrictions almost as severe as its target. |

D-7M Battlecruiser K't'inga |
Green: Disruptor Red: Photorp |
Moving the Main Deflector allowed the installation of a Photorp tube.
Firepower is greatly increased with improved, smaller disruptors (moved from the nacelles to allow warp engine expansion). |

D-7R Battlecruiser K't'rika |
Green: Disruptor Red: Plasma Torpedo Carries Cloaking Device |
The second attempt by the Klingons to install the Romulan plasma weapon, more successful as they had finally recieved a cloaking device. (Combat doctrine is to approach the target cloaked and fire the torpedo as close as possible to minimize the disipation of the plasma.) |

Romulan KR Battlecruiser | Red: Plasma Torpedo Blue: Phaser Carries Cloaking Device |
The first transfer of Klingon ships were F-5 Frigates and older D-6's, but these became the most advanced ships the Romulans had in their fleet at that time. They were fitted with Romulan plasma torpedo technology to ensure availability of repair parts at all starbases. |

Hydran Captured Cruiser D7H Anarchist | Red: Hellbore Pink: Fusion Beam Blue: Phaser |
Captured by the Hydrans and converted to their weapons technology and fleet colors to fly as a propaganda coup against the Klingons. |
