The Excelsior and the Ingram

A display of the differences between the Excelsior (NCC-2000) and the Ingram (NCC-2001). The pictures below are at 1 pixel = 1 meter

As can be seen below, the Ingram uses a larger primary hull, an expanded number of decks on its secondary, and longer, thinner warp nacelles.

(Note the secondary hulls of the ships are unfinished. The Excelsior needs the aft part done while the Ingram's underside is completely unrealistic. It needs a forward undercut and the aft undercut redone.)

(The aft of the Ingram is correct here, an elliptical shape. The Excelsior, an intersection of two elipses, needs to be calculated.)

Nemrac47 has produced a study of the Excelsior model that requires a larger ship. His specs are:

Ingram
Space Control Ship

Ambassador

Cruiser

(No, it is not two ships flying in close formation. I really have to work on modelling the neck.)
