                Lima Library Association’s Mission

 

Lima Library Association is an independent,           non-profit organization dedicated to providing support for Lima Public Library through mobilization of resources and advocacy. The Association is committed to securing a variety of resources for the Lima Public Library in order for them to provide excellent facilities and quality and innovative services, and to enhance the community's appreciation and utilization of the library as an educational and community resource.

Lima Library Association is the charitable arm of the Lima Public Library. Established in 1884, the Association is a non-profit corporation of the State of Ohio. As such, it solicits, receives and maintains funds whose net income and, when designated, principal can be used to enhance the Lima Public Library in its mission  by providing informational, educational, cultural and recreational resources to meet the needs of the residents of Allen County.
