Annual Sun Fish Regatta set for September 20, 2000. The
event will take place on the Maumee River, at 9:00 am,
off the Texas shore. Five divisions race for bragging

The 1999 Economic Review and
Forecast
Explosive growth has
catapulted this rural area into an economic marvel. New
infrastructure is being strengthened to support the
increase in population in business expansion. Plans are
in place to maintain the rural character of the area
while supporting new growth.
The Cleveland Plain Dealer
Names Deshler a Community with Warmth
Deshler was featured
in the Cleveland Plain Dealer on July 25 in the living
section. Five bed and breakfasts were featured for the
coming home tour. One BB has sauna, another a fireplace
in every bedroom, a heated pool outside each room at
another and the other two have jacuzzis in each room.
Deshler welcomes 5000 guests a year.
Plant Coming to LC for Skilled
Employees and Transportation Access says Liberty
Press
The computer giant
Dell is bringing an assembly plant to Liberty Center next
year. A spokesperson for Dell says they found a good poll
of talented, skilled and hard working employees. With
I80, I96, I75 and Burlington Air near by the sight was a,
"no brainer".
