The Putnam County Historical Society and Museum Christmas Open House ABC's of Christmas The Putnam County Historical Society will be hosting the annual museum Christmas open house on December 3rd (1-4 p.m.), December 8 (6-9 p.m.), and December 10 (1-4 p.m.). The theme this year is the ABC's of Christmas featuring Christmas in the one-room school. The museum will be decorated with vintage decor and exhibits in keeping with the school theme. There will be entertainment, music, on the parlor organ, refreshments, and crafts for the children. Christmas trees in the new annex will include decorations by Putnam County elementary students. Books, memberships, and memorial bricks will be available for purchase. The public is invited to visit the museum and enjoy the sights and sounds of the season.
