Floris Evelyn Moran

MORAN Floris Evelyn Moran, age 80, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2010, at her home. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on November 14, 1930 to the late John and Inice Wolfe. Floris graduated from Central High School as Valedictorian in 1948. She was a longtime member of West Park United Methodist Church where she expressed her great love of music as Choir Director and taught Sunday School. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years David Lee Moran who passed away in 2000, and son Adam William Moran. Survivors include her children, Kathleen (Gary) Wiseman, Douglas (Karen) Moran, David (Sherry) Moran, and Edward (Lynn) Moran; brother, John (Luella) Wolfe; sister, Selma Kelly; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. with visitation one hour prior at West Park United Methodist Church, 89 West Park Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43222. Pastor Jeff Julian officiating. In lieu of flowers donations in Floris's memory may be made to West Park United Methodist Church.
