Ivina F. Spradlin, 77,
2901 Fair Road, passed away Monday, May 2, 2011, at 5:40 a.m. at the Fair
Haven Shelby County Home.
She was born on June 6, 1933, in Williamsburg, Ky., the daughter of the late
Leonard and Lillie (Bowen) Davis.
On Aug. 1, 1951, she married Cleo Spradlin who preceded her in death on
April 7, 1997.
She is survived by five sons, James Spradlin, of Miamisburg, Donald Spradlin,
of Lima, Dan Spradlin, of Revolo, Ky., Curtis Spradlin, of Rockford, and
Willard Spradlin (Annette), of Piqua; a daughter-in-law, Ann Spradlin, of
St. Paris; 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; and one sister,
Sylvia Siler, of Vinton.
She was preceded in death by one son, Leonard; one daughter, Diane; a
daughter-in-law, Regina; a granddaughter, Sonja; one great-grandson, Jordan;
and one brother, William Lloyd Davis.
Mrs. Spradlin was retired from Crown Control, where she had worked for
several years. Ivina was a member of the Rumley Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Sidney Baptist
Church, with the Rev. Ernie Jones officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Point
Cemetery in Pasco.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11:30 a.m. until the hour
of services at the church.
