IT'S NOT PRAYER BEADS, PRAYING TOWARD MECCA, SERVING ON THE DEACON BOARD, TEACHING SUNDAY SCHOOL, ATTENDING CHURCH, SINGING IN THE CHOIR, BEING REAL GOOD, HELPING OTHERS, OR ANY OF THE OTHER HUNDREDS OF THINGS A PERSON CAN GET CAUGHT UP IN, NOT EVEN BAPTISM CAN SAVE YOU BECAUSE YOU MUST CONFESS WITH YOUR MOUTH THAT JESUS IS LORD {babies can't talk}. EVEN THOUGH SOME OF THESE THINGS ARE REALLY GREAT, JESUS SAID "YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN". IT'S JESUS CHRIST AND HIM ALONE THAT SAVES YOU FROM HELL. JESUS SAID HE WAS THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE ,,, AND NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER BUT BY HIM..

How do I know I'm a Christian.. because I believe that Jesus is the Son of God... that He came to this earth some 2000 years ago and took upon Himself the sins of the entire world..That Jesus died for me...and He rose from the dead....He's still alive to this day and will be forever and ever.... that ALL who believe in Him will have everlasting life...no one comes to God except through Jesus Christ.. the blood that was shed on the cross when Jesus was crucified is the blood of my Savior - my only hope of glory - the blood that washes me from all my sins and makes me as clean and white as snow no matter what others may think of me. Jesus is Lord of all! Jesus promised me I would be with Him if I would only believe in Him, and I do.

You see, we can't ever be good enough to enter into heaven. You may think you can get there by your good deeds or just by being a good person but you can't. We need a Savior and that Savior is Jesus Christ. Jesus said that He is the way, the truth, and the life and that no one can get to the Father except by way of Him. You can't earn your way into heaven... only what Jesus did on the cross can save us and we must all believe in Him in order to have the key to eternal life of peace with God in heaven.

Please, stop trying to be good enough...stop trying to earn your way to heaven...stop trying to do all those good works to make God look at you and take notice...it just won't work... if it would work, then Jesus died on the cross for nothing. You see He hadn't done a thing wrong--He was perfect but they killed him anyway. Don't get me wrong here now.. Good works are fine and doing good things is great but it's your attitude as to why you're doing them.. Do them for God's glory not your own glory.

We all seem to have an opinion about everything. If I was president of the United States I would do this or that..if I was the CEO of a big corporation I would do this or that...If I were God I would let me into heaven just because ... well, it doesn't work that way. You need a Savior. You need a way to get there. We are told in the Bible that our works are as filthy rags, If we could earn our way to heaven then we could all boast about this or that and all that we did to merit our way to heaven. You just can't be good enough. Trust Jesus today to take away all your sins.... past..present..and future. Allow the spirit to come into your life and change you to what God wants you to be, not what you think you ought to be to make God happy.

PRAY THIS PRAYER TODAY... DEAR GOD, I'M A SINNER AND I KNOW I NEED A SAVIOR. I BELIEVE THAT JESUS CAME TO EARTH AND TOOK UPON HIMSELF THE SINS OF THE ENTIRE WORLD--INCLUDING MY SINS. THAT HE DIED ON THE CROSS AND ROSE FROM THE DEAD. I NEED A SAVIOR AND I BELIEVE THAT THE SAVIOR IS YOUR ONE AND ONLY SON, JESUS CHRIST. I WANT TO CHANGE MY LIFE BUT I CAN'T DO IT. I NEED YOU TO BE THE LORD OF MY LIFE. TO MOLD ME AND MAKE ME INTO WHAT YOU WANT ME TO BE. PLEASE SAVE ME NOW. THANK YOU LORD ! I PRAY THIS IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST.AMEN

After praying that prayer and truly believing what you say.. you will never be the same again. Find a church that teaches the truth about Jesus Christ and go as often as you can . read the Bible and pray and just trust in God that he has started a great work in you and He will see it through to completion. Don't start to once again earn your way into heaven. Let God be God. Let Him change you at the speed He wants to change you. Don't think that you have to be perfect because what ends up happening is that you try to be what you think perfection is or what others tell you it should be. You see, it's not what we see on the outside of a person that makes us a bad person... it's what's in the heart.. The Bible tells us that God searches the heart but man looks upon the outward appearance. Don't get caught up in that. Let God fill you with His spirit and make you what you need to be in His timing.
