Waste Minimization members and employees of the City of Wapakoneta and Auglaize County will host Drop and Swap this May 1. Among the items to be collected and sent home with other residents will be lawn mowers, bicycles, furniture, lamps, working appliances, tools, windows, doors, cleaners, kitchenware and other usable items. Along with Drop and Swap this year will be 'METALMANIA' at which junk metal, auto batteries and appliances will be collected at no charge. Refrigerators and appliances with freon will be collected with a nominal charge to recover the gas. Auglaize County will collect tires also at a charge. Watch local newspapers for more information.

Call us and volunteer to help with Drop and Swap. Items will be judged, unloaded and (unfortunately, a few will be taken to the landfill) loaded again.
