- On the last Saturday of each month, a "Soup's On" dinner is held in the parish hall for the residents of Hillsboro. This event started with a few folks and now serves upwards of 600 people. At a recent dinner, lasagna, corn, tossed salad, rolls and desserts were served. everyone is welcome to come and enjoy good food and good fellowship. It is an experience to remember. Working together makes this mission a success.
- We have a companion relationship with St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Bell County, Kentucky. This parish serves an Applachian community in a deprived area. Many gifts were accumulated for this Christmas 08 to present gifts to those in need.
- The Episcopal Relief and Development Fund collections are made several times a year.
- Emergency assistance for the needy of Hillsboro and surrounding area is provided on an ongoing basis.
- Samaritan Outreach (food, clothing, counseling, and need provider) is supported regularly.
- Hillsboro Homeless shelter gets help from St. Mary's. Contributions may be made to the Highland County Homeless Shelter at 145 Homestead Ave., Hillsboro, OH 45133.
