The Wayne Soil and Water Conservation District provides
educational programs related to protecting water quality
to kids from kindergarten to 12th grade. The
Enviroscape Model and the Freddie the Fish program
demonstrate water pollution and watersheds. For
more information on the programs or to schedule a
program with our Education Specialist,
Kelly Riley, go to
the Education page.
Proper disposal of lawn and garden
waste,
as well as solid waste improves the quality of our
county waterways. Information on materials
collected and locations and dates of drop-offs can be
found on the Stark-Tuscarawas-Wayne Joint Solid Waste
Management District website.
