Mike Resnick's Explorations

Mike Resnick has been making his mark as a writer for over 30 years. And it has been quite a mark. He writes superb science fiction that is entertaining and thought provoking and he is an anthology editor with wonderful taste. The last few years he has been bringing out new editions of old books about Africa as part of The Resnick Library of African Adventure. These are great ways to get insights into early times and long lost places.

Kirinyaga: A Fable of Utopia

It is impossible to say enough about this book. Written originally as 10 short stories, now all pulled together into a whole that is much more than its parts. And considering the huge number of awards and honors that the various stories have garnered, that is saying a great deal. Buy this book and read it. Many times. It is that good.
