Maui Day 3: Going to Hana

Leaving Wailuku about 8 AM, I started driving around east Maui on the Hana Highway. I used the guidebook Maui Revealed extensively for the trip, and it had a lot of good information. Including some out of the way places to stop and see the sights.
There are so many places to stop, and so many things to see along the way, the only way to see even most of it is by taking the entire day just to get to Hana. Unfortunately, I did not have the time to do that, so I had to pick and choose where to stop. So the pictures are from just a few place along the way. But even so, I have had to break up the trip into multiple pages. This page contains the stops up until I reached the Wai'anapanapa State Park, north of Hana.

Recommendations:

  • Hana Highway - A nice way to spend a day. Or two.
  • Banana Bread - From the shop at Ke`anae. It was fresh from the oven at about 10 AM.
