Your Loan Administrator needs to be aware of your intent to file for a deferral.  Be sure you contact her/him before beginning the deferral process but now you know where to find the form that you'll need.

The longest deferral length is 36 months.  If you are unable to begin payback after this 36 months, interest will begin to accrue until payback begins.

 For your convenience, we have included two types of pdf files. 
For these pdf files, you will need the Adobe Reader software.

Using the normal pdf file:
  1. Download the file
  2. Print the file
  3. Fill it out by hand
  4. Sign the application
  5. Mail it to your Loan Administrator
 Using the pdf Form file:
  1. Download the file
  2. Open the file
  3. Fill out the necessary cells
  4. Save the file
  5. Print the file
  6. Sign the application
  7. Mail it to your Loan Administrator
