Welcome to Classroom Applications of Computers!  This course will explore various technologies and how they can be integrated into the K-12 curriculum. Bookmark this site and refer back to it on a regular basis for information and assignments. Please e-mail the instructor with any questions or comments related to this course.

Topics that will be covered include:
- Windows 95 and File Management
- Educational Uses of the Internet
- Hypermedia Projects
- Using Graphics in Projects
- Spreadsheets in the Classroom
- Organizing with Databases
- Evaluating Hardware and Software

Students will be asked to attend weekly classes as well as open lab times. Assignments will involve lab projects, writing article summaries, visiting a technology-using classroom, preparing a lesson plan that incorporates technology, writing a research paper, and evaluating educational software.
