TERMS OF BREEDING

Breeding Fee:            A $100.00 nonrefundable deposit is due at time of dog breeding.  Balance is due at whelping.  A breeding must produce three or more live born pups to constitute a litter.   If two or less pups are born, then a repeat breeding option will be offered.

Kennel Fee:                No charge for first seven days.  Daily fee thereafter.

Transportation:         Owner responsible for all transportation expenses.                        

Airport:                       Dayton International Airport (DAY).  All major airlines.  Fee charged for airport pickup or delivery.

Requirements:           Negative “Canine Brucellosis Test” within four weeks prior to breeding.  OFA hips good or excellent.

Vaccinations:             Evidence of current vaccinations including bordetella (kennel cough).    

Recommended:          CERF eyes examine and Progesterone test.

Optional:                     Food provided.  Owner may provide special diet.

Veterinary:                 All visits to the veterinary, including health certificate, will be the owner’s expense.  All vet fees will be due and payable when dog is returned to owner.  Only in an emergency will a vet be contacted without prior consent of the owner.

Please contact us well in advance of the breeding to make sure we are aware of your timeline.  We prefer to have the female at Radar Kennel early in her cycle to insure she is bred at the optimum time.
