Doc is a large boned chocolate
pointing labrador retriever that is also yellow
factored. He marks well and has a very stylish natural
point. Doc also has that traditional lab personality. He
loves people and loves to work.
Doc's sire, GMPR Jack, is running the shoot to retrieve scene and
doing rather well. Folks are amazed that a lab can point and compete
at this level. Doc's dam, "Maize", my personal
hunting dog, is without a doubt a wonderful dog in every way.
She has a ton of drive and a never quit attitude. Maize will
cuddle with you on the couch or break ice to make that awesome
retrieve! The more years I hunt with her the more she amazes
me.
Doc is surely a chip off the block with regards to looks, style and
desire. While still a young dog he shows all the signs of
being an outstanding dog in the making. He has a better than average
nose and intelligence that show no bounds.
Doc also carries a genetic package that includes some of the very
good original Pointing Labrador Retriever. They established the breed and he
will carry it onward.
