Chocolate Female
Daisey is a 75 pound dark chocolate female
that has very good drive in the upland field and a staunch natural
point. She has good drive in the water and loves to play the
retriever games. She possesses that great Lab personality and will
do whatever she can to please you. Loves kids and other dogs and
simply wants to be part of whatever is going on. When I started
looking for a chocolate female to add to the kennel, I had the
opportunity to watch Daisey’s Aunt at a field trial. I was taken by
the drive and natural point that her Aunt showed in the field. Once
they were done with their run in the test I followed the owner back
to his truck and asked him about his dog (Daisey’s Aunt). He had a
pedigree of his dog with him and he showed it to me. In looking at
the pedigree I could see that the Great Grandmother and Grandfather
were dogs that I had produced in my kennel. This was a pleasant
surprise to me as this meant that I was getting some of my own
genetics back in a dog of this breeding. The fellow also told me
that his brother had a litter of pups on the ground that were out of
his dog’s sister. I made the call and purchased Daisey.
In searching for a male to breed Daisey to I
wanted to increase as much as I could regarding all the genetics
that a good dog should have. My search kept bringing me back to
Cruz, he has produced a lot of very good offspring for many years
with many different females. To me this is proof that he is a proven
producer! Cruz is smaller in size and has very good drive in all
areas. This will only strengthen the overall genetics of this
litter. I am confident that Cruz has what it takes to stamp his
great genetic package on this litter too.

has OFA Good hips.
